About Dr. Burnham

Dr. Andrew “Drew” David Burnham was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He attended Oak Grove High School and graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University in 2019. Dr. Burnham then attended dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2023. While there, he received the Best and Brightest Scholarship and multiple other scholarships and awards. Dr. Burnham was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, where he received the Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence. When he graduated from UMMC School of Dentistry, Dr. Burnham received the Wallace V. Mann Jr. Award, a medal presented by the faculty of UMMC School of Dentistry to the graduating student with the highest academic average. Dr. Burnham then completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Graduate Orthodontic Program in 2026, where he received his orthodontic specialty certificate and Master of Dental Science (MDS) degree. In residency, he completed and defended his research thesis that focused on evaluating craniofacial characteristics of patients with complete unilateral cleft lip and palate.

Drew and his wife Mary Morgan love to travel, cook, go to the movies, walk their golden retriever Murphy, play pickleball and tennis, and spend time with their friends and family. They are members of Temple Baptist Church and are thrilled to be back in their hometown of Hattiesburg. They are also so excited to be welcoming their first child, a baby girl, at the end of July 2026.
